We submitted I Love Virus 1.1 to the AppStore today and it addresses a lot of the feedback that we have been getting about the game recently.
One of the major complaints we were getting was that Virus moved to slow. I am glad to report that will not be a problem any more. Especially when one gets the the speed power-up. Not only is Virus faster now, but so are the White Blood Cells. So you have to be that much more careful!
The second change we introduced was to address something we noticed when we watched people playing. People new to the game would often continue to swipe Virus, not realizing that Virus is smart and remembers what you tell him. Now Virus expands and contracts when he understands a command. This should also help when Virus has a clone because when you input a command Virus will expand and contract but the clone won’t.
The third change was some changes to the Art Work. Don’t fear, Virus is still as loveable as before! In fact, we didn’t change his art work at all. What we do though was update some of the other artwork in the game to improve contrast a bit. The differences are pretty incredible and we think make things a lot easier to see and distinguish. As you can see below the board stands out a bit more as to the blood cells.

We think this update really improves the experience with I Love Virus and cannot wait for it to get into your hands. With any luck it will get online in the next day or two.
